Billy Bob Thorton‘s daughter, Amanda Brumfield, is not leaving jail anytime soon!
An Orange County, Florida, judge ruled that Brumfield, who is being held on a first-degree murder charge, will be kept in jail until an expert witness testifies on evidence heard during a pretrial release hearing.
Brumfield claims that while watching her best friend’s 1-year-old daughter, Olivia Garcia, the baby fell to the ground while straddling the top of her playpen.
What kind of babysitter lets a child do that?!
The child died a short time later and her death has been ruled a homicide.
Judge Bob Wattles is waiting for Dr. Jan Garavaglia to expand on the six bruises on the child’s head and 3.5-inch skull fracture found during the autopsy before the defendant’s possible release.
Brumfield was shaking and crying between her two attorneys.
She refused to look at the autopsy photos viewed in the courtroom, yet other viewers began crying upon seeing the graphic images.
