Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish were spotted shopping at The Perfect Parrot where the couple bought a new pet parrot, Monday.

Billy carefully held their new pet named “Peekaboo” out to their car, while Tish carried a bag full of products to help take care of their new friend.

Why a parrot?

Maybe the parents are hoping the bird will teach Miley a lesson in responsibility.

Or maybe the on-and-off couple is hoping the talking bird will act as a marriage coach.

Either way we wish the Cyruses luck with their family’s newest addition!
