If you’re still trying to figure out what’s really going on between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, we have another wrinkle for ya.
We’ve heard Tay was distancing herself from Blake over the It Ends With Us controversy — you know, since so many people are now against her based on the evidence Justin Baldoni has presented. We’ve also heard she was really upset about her BFF exploiting their friendship, using her name and her presence as an intimidation tactic to get what she wants.
We’ve heard all that. But we’ve also heard they got over their squabble like true besties AND that Tay had invited Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds to attend the Super Bowl with her. A true signal of support, considering it would be in front of tens of millions of viewers. But, you know… Blake wasn’t at the game. Cara Delevingne and the Haim sisters and even MGK were. But no Blake and Ryan.

That simple fact would seem to debunk the source claiming Tay had invited the movie star couple, right? Well…
A source told Us Weekly on Monday it was actually Blake’s idea not to go the Big Game this year. They said she just weighed it and wanted to do other stuff:
“She was hoping to do some traveling before A Simple Favor 2.”
Sorry, WHAT?! New Orleans isn’t traveling? Heck, she and Ryan could go to the hotel where they allegedly hooked up while filming Green Lantern while he was still married to Scarlett Johansson! That’s gotta be romantic, right?
The insider added that “she and Ryan are keeping a low profile at the moment.” Now THAT we believe. Considering the tide of public opinion is so heavily against both of them at the moment, it’s not a good time to go out. Even if a lot of folks support you, when half don’t that can be pretty painful.
What do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Did Tay invite Blake? Was it the Shallows star’s choice not to attend??
