Yikes! Blake Lively’s IEWU Credits Seemingly Hint At That ‘Nicepool’ Connection Justin Baldoni Is Trying To Prove!

Blake Lively may have been a little too overt with this one…

As we’ve been following, Justin Baldoni believes the “Nicepool” character in Deadpool & Wolverine — an alternate reality version of the Marvel hero who sports a man bun and boasts about feminism despite fixating on a woman’s postpartum body — is a caricature of him. It’s well documented there were issues between Justin and Blake on the set of It Ends with Us, specifically relating to his alleged concern over her own postpartum body.

Ryan Reynolds hasn’t publicly addressed the speculation, but the timing certainly works out… And the fact that he was a major creative force behind the superhero film! But Deadpool & Wolverine wasn’t the only film to hint at the connection… Blake seemingly signaled at it in IEWU, too!

During the film’s end credits, the mom of four thanked her husband Ryan by using the funny alias “Gordon Reynolds.” But she didn’t just pull that name out of nowhere. When you go and watch the Deadpool & Wolverine credits, that’s the name Ryan used to credit his work as “Nicepool”!

Oh s**t!

Was that Blake’s way of giving a nod to the character — who many believe is meant to be a parody of Justin — IN the very film she starred in alongside him?! YIKES!

It goes even further, though, because in July of last year, she also encouraged women to go see the Disney blockbuster in an Instagram post despite IEWU coming out just three weeks later and having to compete at the box office. In her post, she wrote about how “proud” she was of her work influencing the film — specifically the part about “Nice men who use feminism as a tool.” See (below):

YIKES! Shadeeeee city!

On Tuesday, Variety reported Justin’s lawyer sent a litigation hold letter to Marvel demanding they preserve “any and all documents relating to the development of the ‘Nicepool’ character” as well as “communications relating to the development, writing, and filming of storylines and scenes featuring ‘Nicepool.’” He also demanded the studio to retain “all documents relating to or reflecting a deliberate attempt to mock, harass, ridicule, intimidate, or bully Baldoni through the character of ‘Nicepool.’”

What are YOUR thoughts, Perezcious readers?? Was this Blake’s way of subtly point out a connection??
