New bombshell details about the It Ends With Us drama have dropped!
In her amended sexual harassment and smear campaign complaint, which was filed on Tuesday, Blake Lively claimed two other actresses from the domestic violence movie lodged complaints against Justin Baldoni for making them feel uncomfortable on set — and are ready and willing to testify with these claims. While the suit did not name the actresses, The Hollywood Reporter has identified them as Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer. Whoa!
Jenny has been on Blake’s side here, as far back as the time of the premiere and the press tour. It makes sense the two joined forces if they both had problems with Baldoni, right?
But according to the outlet, Jenny’s complaint was not about the on-set behavior of the director! On Friday, The Hollywood Reporter dropped the findings of their investigation into the legal dispute. That included spilling the tea on the complaint from the Saturday Night Live alum. And they say it stemmed from an interaction she had not with Justin but rather with his producing partner, Jamey Heath! What!

The outlet alleges Jenny, who has a toddler, rented an apartment in New York City while shooting the movie. She wasn’t happy with the space, they explain, but wouldn’t move because she didn’t want to lose her roughly $15,000 security deposit. While talking with Jamey about the problem, he tried to ease her worries. THR reported the producer informed Jenny that Wayfarer Studios — his and Justin’s company — would reimburse her for the security deposit so she could find a better place to stay.
So generous, right? However, Jamey allegedly used language that made Jenny feel uncomfortable during that conversation, and — being responsible — she filed a complaint to the movie’s distributor Sony about the incident.
What was said? We don’t have the exact words, but sources claimed to The Hollywood Reporter that he “focused so intensely on the sanctity of motherhood and Slate’s role as a mother.” Sounds intense, though we’re not sure what it was he could have said that was so offensive there. Maybe something Butker-ish about a woman’s place?? In any case, an insider alleged Jamey saw their interaction differently, though — complaining that “when Wayfarer offered a kind gesture, it was weaponized against them.”
At this time, Jenny has not commented on the report. We may never get that full story. But we have enough to understand now that if this was the complaint Blake was referring to, she was being wildly misleading here. We mean, the implication was multiple women saying Baldoni harassed them, and this has nothing to do with that!
Of course, this may not be the full story here. Jenny could have lodged another complaint, maybe this wasn’t the one Blake was referring to? But if THR is right, and this was the one Blake was using to bolster her case… this is SO dishonest of her!
