Blake Lively Shows ‘Early Cut’ Of It Ends With Us To Fans Without Permission In Resurfaced Video!

Busted!

Footage has recently surfaced from all the way back in June of 2024 — two months before It Ends With Us premiered — where Blake Lively shows an “early cut” to fans… Without the consent of the studio! Oops??

In the footage, which was taken at author Colleen Hoover’s Book Bonanza in Grapevine, Texas, Blake tells fans:

“Just know this is literally not a bit, it’s literally not done. So, like, to be honest, what really happened is we were like, ‘We’re going to show the movie,’ and the studio was like, ‘No, no, you’re going to show 20 minutes.’ We’re like, ‘No, we’re going to show the movie,’ and they’re like, ‘It’s not done.’ And I was like, ‘They don’t f**king care.’”

Damn! Pushy!!

She continued:

“They were like, ‘If everything’s not perfect and it’s not done and what if we’re going to change things?’ I was like, ‘These are the people who authored the success of the book. You guys are what matter, you guys seeing the movie is so important to us.’”

Inneresting move. She really did seem to take a lot of ownership of this movie from director and co-star Justin Baldoni! In the footage, author Colleen adds:

“It is an early, early cut. We’re so excited. You know, bussing 2,000 people to a movie theater sounds like a chaotic nightmare, so I just need you all to be excited and patient. This is a huge honor. We want it to go well.”

Blake then tags on:

“I literally brought the movie on an airplane. I have a folder and a disc, like a hard drive.”

The question is… whose cut did she show? One of the big contentions in Baldoni’s case is that Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds were trying to take the movie from him, and their big coup came at the editing stage, where they brought in their own guy. Hmm. We wonder if this was bringing that cut as her own experiment, using those folks as the test audience. Obviously we have no way of knowing, but like she said, she brought it herself on a disc. Who would know if she switched them out? Per some sources, her cut is the one that ultimately got approved, so not even viewers at the Book Bonanza could point out anything different from the theatrical version.

What do YOU make of this footage? Should Blake have bucked the studio and gone rogue? Is that actually totally cool with you? And which cut do YOU think she showed? Let us know in the comments down below!
