Blake Lively is ready for her day in court!
Blake and Justin Baldoni had the first hearing in their already contentious legal battle on Monday. Judge Lewis Liman declared that their trial would take place in March 2026 — but only if the two parties stop making the legal mess so public. He claimed if they didn’t change their ways — which could currently taint a jury pool — he’d be forced to move up the trial. It was one big threat to get them to shape up… only it may not actually work.

You see, according to a TMZ insider on Tuesday, the Gossip Girl star is actually VERY eager to get the trial started! A source close to the actress said that the scandal is currently taking a big toll on the mother and her family, causing both her and Ryan Reynolds a lot of anguish — feelings that first started back on the set of It Ends With Us. Sad to hear, but not shocking.
Blake and Ryan have been taking a beating online as public opinion seems to be favoring Team Justin with each new piece of evidence that’s released. Not to mention, this is after she was already in the hot seat and labeled a mean girl for the way she promoted the movie. It’s been a rough few months for her!
Because of all this, Blake wants to get this legal matter resolved ASAP! She’s apparently “grateful” for the way the first hearing went, feeling as if the judge ruled in her favor (though Justin’s team also seemed pleased with the results). Now, Blake’s “more than ready” for her time in court — where she wants to address her serious sexual harassment and retaliation allegations in full instead of letting Justin’s “counter claim sideshow” (which she believes is mostly about the final cut of the film) to continue to take center stage.
Interestingly, the same goes for the Jane the Virgin star! Justin’s legal team has said that he actually wants the trial to take place sooner, too, and now the stars know exactly how to accomplish that! They just have to continue airing all their dirty laundry in public and, if the judge stays true to his word, they’ll get an earlier trial date. So much for that punishment. LOLz!
