Bloodhound Gang needs to learn that two wrongs most certainly do not make a right!
We’ve been watching what’s going on in Russia right now and are downright appalled to see the country discriminate against their own citizens.
But at a concert over the weekend, Bloodhound Gang bass guitarist Jared Hasselhoff took his protest to his PANTS in a move we think went way too far!
Hasselhoff was videotaped at their show in Odessa, Ukraine as he shoved the Russian flag down the front of his pants and pulled it out on the other side! Before beginning the stunt, he can be heard yelling to the crowd:
“I know what to do with the Russian flag! Don’t tell Putin!”
While fans in the crowd cheered on his actions, band member Jimmy Pop disapproved of Hasselhoff’s antics. Pop stepped up to the mic and said:
“Unfortunately, Russia is better than America. So, I disapprove of that, because America sucks like every ex-girlfriend I ever had!”
The band’s controversial concert set off tempers in both the US and Russia. Soon after their performance, a crew member from The Bloodhound Gang claims the band was attacked by Russian nationalists inside Anapa Airport!
While the band suffered no serious injuries and are now safe, they have been BANNED from playing their scheduled appearance at the Kubana festival, a weeklong musical event along the Black Sea.
On Sunday, US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul tweeted out his disapproval of the band’s prank. His message was written in Russian, but said:
“I find The Bloodhound Gang’s act to be disgusting. I also condemn the act of violence against them.”
Ukranian police have now opened up a criminal investigation into the band after seeing the video from the concert.
The Bloodhound Gang’s web site also went offline on Monday with sources saying a group of Eastern European hackers forced it to shut down!
SIGH…
