As Kiefer Sutherland joins the hundreds of others on unemployment, he told sources that his final days on 24 were rough.
So rough that he actually broke down in tears.
As he thanked the crew of 24 for all their hard work and dedication to the show that made him famous in a little speech on the last day of shooting, Kiefer lost it and couldn’t contain himself:
“It caught me off guard. I thought we actually, literally, had one more shot to do and they said, ‘That’s a wrap on Kiefer Sutherland and it’s a series wrap. I had something in my head that I wanted to say to the crew because this was the most amazing group of people… and I unfortunately, as I was going to speak, locked eyes with our head gaffer… and, literally, my voice faltered… and my lip went. I start looking to my shoes… It was hard to let it go.”
Aw! Poor baby!
But chin up, Jack Bauer! The CTU will be calling on you again in the movie! It won’t be goodbye for long!
