But we digress.
The J.J. Abrams directed sci-fi flick, which was also produced by Steven Spielberg, reportedly grossed an estimated $12.1 million at the Friday box office, and is predicted to surpass $35 million for the entire weekend, including Thursday preview screenings!
That’s pretty impressive, especially considering no one knew what the eff it was about, and still went anyway!
Guess J.J. has still got it!
