Looks like the adorable Jolie-Pitt family will remain a party of 8 as for now.
Angelina Jolie says that she and Brad Pitt have no plans to adopt, despite rumors that had the couple attempting to adopt a 4-year-old Haitian girl named Leah.
Angie’s rep confirmed:
“There is no truth to these rumors.
[Angelina] is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti. As such, she has been meeting with government of Haiti officials, Haitian legal experts and non-governmental organizations regarding a new initiative of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The recently launched Jolie Legal Fellows Program will assist the justice system in Haiti to improve child protection.”
We’re sure Angelina and Brad plan to do everything they can to help the children of Haiti.
Maybe when the other kids get a little older, they’ll adopt again? We’ll just have to wait and see…
