But who will come out victorious with the top prize?
This weekend was a real good one for Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Each had movies performed outstandingly well with critics and won coveted prizes at two important events.
Los Angeles Film Critics Association declared Clooney’s drama The Descendants the best film of the year. However, Brad’s Tree Of Life pulled in second at the LAFCA’s and then showed everyone who was boss at the San Francisco Critics Awards by winning THREE tops awards, including Best Film. It also won for best directing and best cinematography.
Well, well. What to say about that! The Descendants is strong contender, no question. But perhaps there is more life in the Brad’s Tree movie. Perhaps it has what it takes to take home the little, coveted, golden man.
