Brad Pitt Is A 'New Man' & Happier Than Ever Following Big Wins During Awards Season

Brad Pitt is feeling like a new man after big wins during awards season.

Brad Pitt is truly the definition of a comeback kid!

Despite a few challenging years out of the spotlight, the 56-year-old film star has made quite a statement with his big Hollywood return. After scoring major wins at the Golden Globes and Oscars for his standout performance in Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, it’s become crystal clear the seasoned actor is back at the top of his game right now!

Playing the lovable stuntman Cliff Booth to perfection in the Quentin Tarantino-directed film wasn’t the only factor to influence Brad’s recent success and a renewed sense of self. A source told People the star’s personal life has finally hit a positive stride:

“He has been enjoying a little slower personal life. It has worked wonders. We can see that it has shot him to the top professionally.”

As you’re likely aware, Pitt’s highly-publicized 2016 divorce from Angelina Jolie certainly played a part in his decision to take a step back the public eye. The pair split after two years of marriage and over a decade of dating. They share six kids together including Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie and Pitt famously struggled to sort out their differences amid the split and the Ad Astra star’s relationship with his kids suffered as a result. Brad also admitted his excessive drinking problem had contributed to his troubles at home. Time spent at a men’s Alcoholics Anonymous group helped to turn his life around by shifting focus from past mistakes to improving his health and repairing a broken bond with his kids.

“He is a new man. He is happy, loves his kids, and relishes his quiet time at home.”

Speaking more to Brad’s good vibes these days, a longtime colleague told the outlet:

“Things are going much more smoothly, and he is infinitely happier.”

By focusing on the positive, Pitt has truly been able to find happiness again. When People caught up with him during awards season, he proudly admitted:

“I got friends, I got lovely kids, I like my coffee, I like my dogs. I’ve got no complaints.”

Yasss!

Now, THIS is the type of positive change we like to hear about. Between poking fun at himself in recent acceptance speeches to giving us that unforgettable moment with friendly ex-wife Jennifer Aniston backstage at the SAG Awards (and later, making amends for all of the shitty things he did to her, too), we’re really feeling all of Brad’s recent moves. And we’re just as excited for whatever he’s got planned next!

Keep living your best life, dude. We’re rooting for ya!
