Sounds like Brad Pitt could finally touch that sexy gold man at The Academy Awards!! Rubbing Angelina Jolie‘s has to get old… Ha!
Being one of the actors who probably should have won one by now (Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio), Brad KILLED in this new film (figuratively and literally).
But his performance isn’t the only thing receiving that honey bee buzz! Apparently they used Obama‘s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech. And some people are thinking it’s a stab against Prez O, but Brad explains:
The movie sets Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech against a landscape of greed and violence but this wasn’t an attempt to criticize Obama, but rather the footage was used as a real expression of hope.
So basically… they used it exactly like it was used at the time.
Well! We love it when films throw in a pinch of reality. And we REALLY love it when they star Brad!! We’d love to see him finally take home the gold. C’mon, don’t you??
