Brandon Sklenar just made a BOLD statement!
The It Ends With Us star stepped out on Sunday night to attend the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, where he posed on the red carpet in a simple black suit — and the SAME pink flower broach that Justin Baldoni wore to the premiere of their film! OMG!
So long are the days of his support for Blake Lively! It seems he really switched sides!

As you’ll recall, Justin wore what is known as the Anabela Chan Blush Parrot Bloom Pin to the New York City premiere of the Colleen Hoover adaptation. As fan speculation about the similar bling started to heat up online, the jeweler actually confirmed it was the same broach on Instagram while sharing photos of Brandon at the event (see HERE). So did the 1923 star when he took to his on feed to post a pic (see HERE), captioning it:
“Vanity Fair X long live the broach”
Whoa! He knew what he was doing! At least, that’s what it sounds like from that comment!
Here’s the crazy part, too. It doesn’t seem like this was just a coincidence. Obviously, judging from Brandon’s caption, he knows this pin has a history. But it also seems like he went out of his way to get a hold of it.
Justin and Brandon do not have the same stylist, so this wasn’t just a coincidence. That said, the jeweler has worked with Sydney Sweeney before (as early as last month for Paris Hilton‘s birthday party) — and Sydney just happens to be Brandon’s next co-star. So, perhaps the Euphoria star helped him figure this out? Brandon also thanked the brand for the statement piece on the ‘gram, commenting on their post of him at the bash:
“Thank you! It was perfect”
Hmm. Seems like this could’ve been his idea?? Because if his stylist had simply recommended it, we don’t know if he’d be personally thanking the jeweler like this! Wild!
Not to mention, when asked about how he’s “hoping to support” the Gossip Girl star amid her legal battle, he completely dodged the question, telling The Hollywood Reporter on the carpet:
“It’s a tough situation and I just hope everyone remembers what the movie’s about and why we made it in the first place. It’s about love and it’s about supporting women in general and helping people through tough times. And that movie has helped so many people, and I just want people to remember what it’s about and why we made it and to kind of keep it on that — that kind of core ethos.”
And yet he has nothing to say about supporting the actual woman in the case IRL? Okay…

He’s done a complete 180 on this hot topic. First, he was one of the first IEWU cast members to stand up for Blake as rumors of a feud surfaced during the film’s rollout (support he echoed when she made sexual harassment and retaliation claims against the Jane the Virgin star). But now, not only does he refuse to defend her or even talk about the legal situation, but he’s seemingly publicly siding with Justin? What changed??
Is he just messing with fans? Was this a PR stunt to try to get people off his back for staying silent on the matter? Could it have been a mistake? We have so many questions! Sound OFF with what you think this means (below)!
