Are Britney Spears' Sons Considering Becoming Her Conservators Amid Legal Trouble?

Could Britney Spears be placed back into a conservatorship amid her legal troubles with her boys as the conservators?

Following her DUI, there have been questions over whether the pop star needs to re-enter one. She has been struggling a lot since gaining her independence, and all anyone wants is for her to be happier, healthier, and safe. And yes, some fans who once advocated for her freedom from her 13-year-long arrangement feel that even if it means Britney being in a conservatorship again.

Obviously, after learning the alleged horrors Brit faced under her dad/former conservator Jamie Spears, no one wants to see him in the position of control over the singer again. But what about her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston? Are they pushing to become her conservators now? We’ve heard they were instrumental in getting their momma into rehab after her arrest last month. They also reportedly moved into her home. Is this all their plan to take on the role? The answer is NO.

Sources told RadarOnline on Wednesday that Sean and Jayden have zero interest in ever becoming conservators for Britney,  especially after seeing what can happen to a family with that sort of dynamic. One insider said:

“They love her deeply – but they’re not taking on that role. They’ve seen what it does to a family. It tore everything apart.”

And remember, Sean and Jayden had been estranged from the Circus artist for years! They just reconciled with Britney! You can’t blame them for not wanting to be her conservators! However, that doesn’t mean the pair doesn’t want to see her get the help she needs. The source added:

“They want her supported by professionals. Doctors, advisors – people trained for this. They want to be her sons, not her supervisors.”

Fortunately, Britney has been eager to “implement positive change” in her life following her legal drama. As we mentioned, the Crossroads actress checked into a treatment facility. And in accordance with her plea deal, she will see a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month. Britney also can’t possess any drugs without a valid prescription during her 12-month probation — meaning no alleged trips to Mexico for Adderall anymore.

Hopefully, Britney won’t need a conservatorship, and all of this will get her back on the right track! We’re rooting for her, and it sounds like her sons are too! Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments.
