Brittany Cartwright 'Didn’t Care’ If She ‘Hurt’ Ex Jax Taylor By Hooking Up With His Friend!

Brittany Cartwright does not regret hooking up with Jax Taylor’s friend!

In case you missed the reality TV-level drama… In a since-deleted tweet in June, Jax accused his estranged wife of “sleeping with” a mystery man after their separation in February. He did not name the guy at the time. However, months later, we found out that Brittany had started a “casual” physical relationship with his pal — basketball player-turned-actor Julian Sensley, who used to work the door at TomTom!

Page Six reported about the short-lived romance in early October. By the time the report dropped, their fling was already over. Julian even went back to his “on and off” partner. Brittany, on the other hand? No way was she going back to Jax!

When he learned of her dalliance with his friend, the outlet claimed, he “went berserk” — and that’s when he sought out mental health treatment. He didn’t work very hard at it, according to Brittany though. He even rage-texted her while in rehab, which ultimately led her to pull the trigger and file for divorce! Wow. Jax was hit so hard by Brittany’s fun with Julian.

Well, don’t plan to see Brittany apologize! Girl is not sorry! And she made that very clear!

During a new episode of Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast on Monday, the 35-year-old reality star defended the hookup with Julian. She insisted to podcast host and VPR and The Valley producer Alex Baskin she did nothing wrong. They were broken up and “did not have a no dating in the friend group policy” — not like their former co-stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz (which he epically failed at following, if you remember). Brittany said:

“We never spoke about that because why would we? First off, I didn’t think I was going to hook up with his friend. It wasn’t planned. I wasn’t trying to go after one of his friends. That’s not how it happened.”

They did have rules — which she never broke. Jax, though? It shouldn’t come as a surprise to Vanderpump Rules fans to learn he crossed the boundaries not once but twice — at least! Brittany claimed:

“What we had said was, ‘Nobody around Cruz and nobody at our home that we own together. Those were the two rules. I don’t know if he had anyone around Cruz, but he had people at my house. I caught them both times. I caught him twice!”

When it came to Brittany sleeping with a friend? While it possibly was not the best decision to get involved with Jax’s friend, it was not a rule they’d set. So as far as she’s concerned she did nothing wrong.

Brittany once again insisted the fling was not “planned,” but she went after Julian because “it was somebody that I felt like I knew.” Not to mention she “always thought he was so hot.” She added:

“It was somebody that I felt like I knew and in our world. It’s so crazy because, like, how do you trust people? And I was single for the first time in L.A. Another weird thing about my life is that my whole LA story, it has been with Jax and on camera, pretty much. I never lived in LA without Jax, so this is also a new thing for me.”

But it wasn’t just about being comfortable with the person she rebounded with, she admitted. Brittany also was “so mad” at Jax she didn’t mind if it “hurt” him! She explained:

“I was just so mad at Jax so I didn’t care if I hurt his feelings about that. Why should I care? He never cared about how he hurt my feelings for years. He put me down. He did so much to me. So it’s like I’m sorry that you’re so upset about who it is. At the same time, you didn’t give me attention, affection or anything for years. So, I was like, you know what? This guy is really hot, and I was taking care of myself. Jax has no legs to stand on. He hooked up with my friend, let’s all remember that.”

Oh, we all remember how Jax cheated on her with Faith Stowers…

And if Jax was going to be upset at anyone, he should start with the friend! According to Brittany, Julian slid into her DM’s first and started to flirt with her:

“I could tell this guy was flirting with me. I was always flirting with him. He is very much my type, and just kind of flirting through DMs, and one time I was just like, ‘Come over,’ slip in the DM.”

Get it, girl!
