Finally, some good news!
Brooke Mueller has voluntarily admitted herself to UCLA Medical Center to receive treatment for drug addiction. The socialite and ex-wife of Charlie Sheen was released from an involuntary psychiatric hold there on Friday, following a multi-day drug binge.
A source revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôBrooke was released from the hold last week but she made the decision that it├óΓé¼Γäós in her best interests to seek treatment for her drug addiction at UCLA, at least, in the short term… The plan is for Brooke to stabilize and then she├óΓé¼Γäóll move to to another treatment facility soon.├óΓé¼┬¥
The source added:
“It was Brooke’s sole decision to check back into UCLA.”
Brooke├óΓé¼Γäós rep Steve Honig also stated that she’ll ├óΓé¼┼ôlikely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse,├óΓé¼┬¥ and that she ├óΓé¼┼ômisses her children and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom.├óΓé¼┬¥
We think it’s great that she’s stepping up to do things right by herself and her kids.
