Brooklyn Beckham is celebrating a momma in his life… but it ain’t Victoria Beckham! On Sunday, the 27-year-old took to Instagram to honor his mother-in-law Claudia Peltz on her 71st birthday. On his Story, Brooklyn shared a photo of himself posing with wife Nicola and Claudia and wrote:
“Happy birthday to the best mother in law x love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day
”

A very sweet tribute in and of itself! But keep in mind he notably snubbed his own mom on her b-day last year… and to add just a bit more of a sting to the situation, Sunday marks Mother’s Day in the UK where Brooklyn was born and raised and where his parents reside. So while he currently has a post up honoring his mother-in-law, it’s crickets in terms of a Mother’s Day shoutout for Victoria.
However, David Beckham made up for the snub by sharing a black-and-white photo of Victoria with a pregnant belly and indirectly mentioning Brooklyn:
“Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing mummy….. You are an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be to our 4 amazing children.. We love you so much and I’m so thankful for the family we have created Have a special Mother’s Day because if there’s one person that deserves it it’s you I love you”

Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, also shared throwback pics of their momma on their IG Stories. Romeo wrote:
“Happy Mother’s Day mum thank u for all you do, no one does it like u, love u so much and always”
While the family may have wished Brooklyn a birthday earlier this month, we don’t anticipate a family reunion anytime soon if today’s post (or lack thereof) is any sort of indication…
