Well kinda!
Apparently Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has taken a shine to American football!
Brooklyn made quite the impression on his coaches at school and has been chosen to play for the Los Angeles Cougars league because he’s a “natural thrower and hard tackler.” Posh even carries pictures of her 10-year-old son in his uniform because she’s so proud.
A friend of the family says of Brooklyn:
“The boy has just taken his natural sporting ability and adapted to America. He can play in any position and can throw and tackle hard. Like his dad, he’s fearless with an incredible work rate.”
But supposedly David would prefer if Brooklyn pursued soccer because he thinks he has the potential to go pro in the sport just like his papa.
There’s even been talk of Brooklyn going to a trial at the Tottenham’s Football School of Excellence in 2010, where David started before joining Manchester United.
Sounds like Brooklyn is just an all-around natural athlete! Is anyone surprised?
