The New Kids on the Block were all set to tour in Australia later this summer, but the kids men are now scrapping those plans, citing the RECESSION as their reason why.
On their official website Donnie Wahlberg wrote, “Despite warnings that the financial problems plaguing the world would compromise the Australian tour ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ they never gave up on this dream and neither did we. However ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I├óΓé¼Γäóm sorry to say that now ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ it is true. We can only assure you that when the recession├óΓé¼Γäós stranglehold on the world├óΓé¼Γäós economies eases up a bit ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ we will find a way to make this work.”
Translation: They didn’t sell enough tickets!
