Too little too late?
Caitlyn Jenner may be the most famous transgender person in the world, but she hasn’t done the best job of representing the community since transitioning back in April of 2015.
However, it seems as though she’s finally ready to be more than just a reality star, because the I Am Cait advocate will be lending her talents to Transparent next season!

Creator Jill Soloway announced the Season Three casting news on Sunday, saying:
“We are all part of the same community. A lot of the transwomen who work on our show are also in her show, I Am Cait. Lots of crossover. Lots of friends.”
Jill didn’t give too many details about Caitlyn’s role, but hopefully she’ll be comfortable enough to match Jeffrey Tambor, Gaby Hoffmann, and Judith Light‘s Golden Globe-winning work!
This is a good move on her part to show her peers that she’s making an effort, but we’ll have to wait until the Amazon show returns late 2016 to see her acting chops.
