Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair Stylist Opens Up About Dressing The Iconic Covergirl In Secret!

She should be very proud of herself!
There sure were a lot of hands that went into perfecting Caitlyn Jenner‘s photoshoot for Vanity Fair, and one of the people behind the cover is opening up about her role in the coming out story.
VF Fashion & Style Director Jessica Diehl has worked on hundreds of shoots for the magazine, but being behind Caitlyn’s issue may have been her biggest role yet.

Jessica not only had the job of dressing Caitlyn exquisitely for the fashion mag… but she had to do it all in secret!
But, the stylist says it wasn’t about the outfits, because it was really about helping Caitlyn be herself:

“Underneath all of this excitement and newsworthiness is the soul of a woman. And that didn’t need a lot of covering up. It was not meant to be risqu├â┬⌐ in any way. It was really meant to sort of show with all honesty and purity, ‘This is what is going on. Here I am.'”

Wow. That’s just such a beautiful sentiment!
With that said, Jessica did add that it didn’t hurt that the 65-year-old was a complete stunner:

“I have to say, out of that three- or four-hour fitting, there were only two things we did not like. Everything looks good on her. That just doesn’t happen. It was never the clear forerunner ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it just kind of became clear when we spent the day together.”

Good for you, Caitlyn — Werk!
We’re glad everyone on the set of the shoot, from Annie Leibovitz to Jessica, made the process so comfortable for Caitlyn.
