This dude SERIOUSLY has no chill!
As we reported, Vogue released four covers of its highly-anticipated September issue, where one features Jennifer Lawrence standing in front of the Statue of Liberty.
Unfortunately, not everyone is a fan of the Annie Leibovitz-shot portrait.

On Thursday, John Carney — who runs Breitbart‘s finance and economics coverage — interpreted the cover as an attack on the right and their conservative ideals. He wrote:

When asked for clarification, the editor asserts the picture is an “allusion” against Donald Trump‘s recent plan to limit legal immigration.

As illustrated by a recent feud between Trump adviser Stephen Miller and CNN‘s Jim Acosta in August, many believe the new immigration proposal is in direct opposition to Emma Lazarus‘s poem engraved on the Statue of Liberty which reads, “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
Tired of the BS, Vogue director of communications Zara Rahim responded saying the cover was shot in June, before the recent immigration debate even happened. Sadly, Carney wasn’t satisfied with the explanation.

When word of the controversy broke out, the Twitter universe couldn’t contain their laughter! See the best reactions (below)!
