TLC is bringing in the ratings with its current reality tv shows.
The execs at the network are giving Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro his own spinoff show!
Despite already starring in the network’s show Cake Boss focused on his bakery in Hoboken, NJ, and having a spinoff competition show called The Next Great Baker, Buddy will also host his own Italian cooking show.
The new gig, which is set to launch on January 24th, will be titled Kitchen Boss.
Buddy reveals:
“The main focus is accessibility. I want food that takes people back to remembering what their grandmother made, or their mother made.”
And Buddy plans on making it easy for viewers to follow his recipes.
He admitts:
“Sometimes I watch cooking shows and they say, ‘I got this pepper from a canyon in Mexico.├óΓé¼Γäó Who the hell is going to get that pepper? I want people to go to the supermarket and get what they need.”
Sounds yum!
