Whoa! This Is HUGE! California Lawmaker To Propose Ban On Orcas In Captivity! SeaWorld's Worst Nightmare Could Be Coming True!

A California lawmaker has proposed that captive orcas that are forced to perform be set free!!
One incredible California lawmaker is going to introduce the Orca Welfare and Safety Act and it could change things in a big way forever!
State Assemblymember Richard Bloom, D├óΓé¼ΓÇ£Santa Monica, is trying to make it illegal to “hold in captivity, or use, a wild-caught or captive-bred orca for performance or entertainment purposes.”
The ban wouldn’t only make it illegal to hold them captive for entertainment, it would also ban artificial insemination of captive killer whales and block the import of more orcas or orca semen.
California would basically become a safe haven for killer whales.
What would happen if someone were to violate the ban?
They would face a fine of up to $100,000 and/or six months in county jail!!
Assemblymember Bloom said:

“There is no justification for the continued captive display of orcas for entertainment purposes. These beautiful creatures are much too large and far too intelligent to be confined in small, concrete pens for their entire lives. It is time to end the practice of keeping orcas captive for human amusement.”

Finally! A politician with his head and heart in the right place!
So what would happen to the orcas currently held at San Diego’s SeaWorld?
All ten orcas at SeaWorld “shall be rehabilitated and returned to the wild where possible.”
For whales who wouldn’t survive in the wild, they will be “transferred and held in a sea pen that is open to the public and not used for performance or entertainment purposes.”
That’s so amazing! The whales will be saved!
We really really reallllllly hope this bill passes!!
