We have great news for everyone with the capacity to love!
Today the California Supreme Court put what we HOPE is the final nail in Proposition 8‘s coffin!
Judges just rejected arguments from those seeking to halt same-sex marriages, which have been allowable in the state since the U.S. Supreme Court made its historic decision a few months back.
It’s hard for us to fathom how anyone could oppose the right of ordinary folks to marry whomever they love, but those hate-spreading groups continue to exist!!
We would love to view this as a deathblow to the bigots and ill-informed, but San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera admits the haters may never back down!
He said:
“By now, I suppose we know better than to predict that Prop 8 proponents will actually give up their fight.. But it’s certainly fair to say that their remaining legal options are increasingly absurd.”
We’re just thankful the CA Supreme Court saw fit to throw out the appeal so the state can continue issuing marriage licenses to LGBT couples in love!!!
Let’s hear it for honeymoon sex, woot woot!! LOLz!!
