Ashton Kutcher can’t catch a break from anyone this week – not even Cameron Crowe!
The pair were expected to work together on the 2005 flick Elizabethtown, but according to the actor at the time, he had to leave production due to scheduling conflicts with his TV show, That ’70s Show!
However, the director recently revealed that he, in fact, fired Kutcher – because he had no chemistry with co-star Kirsten Dunst!
He explains:
“I’ll spend months working with an actor, and I think I spent four months with Ashton. At a certain point, it’s like, ‘This is not meant to be.’ It felt like a noble crusade.”
Yeesh! We wonder if Ashton felt the same way?
Not that we aren’t glad that our beloved Orly was his replacement!
He did such a nice job with that role!
And hey, no worries, Ashton! We’ll always have What Happens In Vegas!
