Johnny Depp said he’d make another one, so they’re making another one!
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is finding himself very busy these days as he admits to be in the midst of working on the next installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The word is that the film will be gracing screens as soon as 2012 and Bruckheimer admits he’s seen some pages of the script and can guarantee a very Jack Sparrow-centric venture.
├óΓé¼┼ôDisney├óΓé¼Γäós priority is to get Pirates made,” he says. “That’s a great franchise for them and for us too. Beloved, with a great character and Johnny’s really excited about coming back to Captain Jack.”
The push forward with the new Pirates film puts another Depp/Disney project on the back-burner. The Mouse has wrangled Johnny to play Tonto in an updated version of The Lone Ranger and the flick was slated to film first, but now that is no longer the case.
We’re really excited for more Pirates, but the Lone Ranger? Really?
Which film are U more excited for?
