Captain Planet Could Be Coming To The Big Screen! A New Movie Is In The Works!

Captain Planet and the Planeteers might soon be saving the earth in THEATERS!
Sony could soon land the rights to adapt this classic cartoon into a movie! But will it remain animated or will we be seeing our five favorite tree-hugging teens come to life?
So far there’s no word on whether the studio will stick with the cartoon or go with a live action version. But either way, we’ve had the theme song stuck in our heads all day!
Looks like Don Cheadle already submitted his audition for the role of Captain Planet – he’s got the flying part down, that’s for sure!
