And Portia De Rossi would consider being one of the partners!
There’s a lot of talk of adding a same-sex dancing couple on Dancing With The Stars next year and buzz is that producers want Portia to be the celebrity. However, there is some skepticism on whether or not the show will actually go through it.
If one of the show’s judges have her then they will! Carrie Ann Inaba told sources she thought it would be a great idea and supports the campaign to make it happen on the show. She explained:
“I would love it. I fully support that and I think America is ready for that. Our country is much more accepting of same sex couples and it would be great for the show to reflect that.”
Then, this morning, Ryan Seacrest had Portia on his show to talk about her new book, but the conversation segwayed into DWTS and if she would want to do it. He assumed she would pass on the offer, but to his surprise, Portia said she’d be thrilled! She told Ryan:
“I’m not going to pass! Let me think about it. used to be a ballet dancer. It’s not completely a pass. You never know!”
Wow! We know we’d love to see it happen!
