Is This Really Necessary, Disney??

We know that the first one was a pretty big critical and commercial success…but seriously?
Check out (above) the just-released teaser trailer for Cars 2.
Eh…we somehow doubt that this is remotely necessary.
But then again, most sequels aren’t!
Thoughts??
