We hope this isn’t true!
Casey Affleck has been hit with a $2 million sexual harassment lawsuit by Amanda White, a producer on I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix.
She claims that Casey acted inappropriately while directing the flick and that she experienced “uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace.”
In the complaint, White alleges that Casey called women “cows” and bothered her while discussing his sexual exploits. She also added that although Affleck is married to Joaquin’s sister Summer, the director took over White’s hotel room in Costa Rica to entertain two ladies. And he even tried to get her to spend the night with him in San Francisco.
She added that Casey became “hostile and aggressive” when she denied his advanced and “violently grabbed her arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying.”
But Casey’s camp is claiming this is bullshiz!
Affleck’s lawyer, Michael Plonsker, said:
“The allegations brought upon our clients are preposterous and without merit. Ms. White was terminated from the production over a year ago. She and her lawyers believe that this maliciously and erroneously filed complaint will cause the producers to succumb to her outrageous and baseless demands. She is mistaken.
The complaint will be vigorously defended and cross-claims will be filed against her.”
White is looking for damages for sexual harassment, breach of oral contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress and money owed as producer of the film.
Oh shiz. We don’t know who to believe!
