Accused Child Murderer Casey Anthony SLAMMED For Rebranding Herself As A 'Legal Advocate' On TikTok!

Casey Anthony, Mom Formerly Accused Of Killing Daughter, Slammed For Rebranding Herself As 'Legal Advocate'!

Casey Anthony has returned to the spotlight — and is getting absolutely blasted for her attempt at a rebrand!

If you somehow didn’t see a TV around 2008, Casey was accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. The child had gone missing, but pretty quickly Casey’s story fell apart. Her own mother reported her to the police a month after the disappearance. Casey was arrested for child neglect, suspicion of lying to law enforcement, and obstruction of a criminal investigation. She was later charged with first-degree murder after Caylee’s remains were eventually found in a wooded area near her parents’ home.

In a 2011 trial, she switched up stories. She now claimed Caylee drowned in her parents’ pool and that her father George helped dispose of the body after having allegedly sexually abused the child (both things he denied). Meanwhile, prosecutors accused Casey of using chloroform to kill her daughter. Casey was found not guilty of the murder — but she was convicted of lying to the authorities. With credit for time served, Casey was released in July 2011.

It was a really, really dark and dramatic case. And now, for the first time ever, Casey is making her TikTok debut while trying to rebrand herself as a “legal advocate”! In a three-minute video, she explained this is the first of “many” videos she plans to release in a new series, saying:

“I am a legal advocate. I am a researcher. I’ve been in the legal field since 2011 and in this capacity, I feel that it’s necessary if I’m going to continue to operate appropriately as a legal advocate, that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter.”

“I’ve been in the legal field” is how we recommend everyone convicted of a crime inform their new employer btw. Classic.

Despite referencing her daughter, Casey made clear immediately that she will not be talking about her own legal case or her parents at this time:

“This is not about them. This is not in response to anything that they have said or done. That’s not to say that I’m not going to respond at some point to some of the things that they have said and done. The whole point of this is for me to begin to reintroduce myself.”

She said she hopes to use her TikTok and Substack account to share advice and rebuild her public image, adding:

“I’m doing this both personally for me, but in a professional capacity. Moving forward, the majority of what you will see will be me speaking in a professional capacity. My goal is to continue to help give a voice to people, to give people tools and resources that they can utilize so they actually know where they can turn to.”

The 38-year-old added that she is inspired to speak up after people in her life have “been targeted and attacked recently,” sharing:

“There are also people close to me who have had some recent things occur, and when necessary, people needed to step up, myself included.”

So she’s a “legal advocate”… for herself? She’s going to go on TikTok and blast people who go after her and her friends? There’s another name for that… a TikToker! Seriously, that’s like half of influencers, clapping back at the haters is a cottage industry.

No, Casey says she’s hoping to use her unwanted platform for good, explaining:

“As a proponent for the LGBTQ community, for our legal community, women’s rights, I feel that it’s important that I use this platform that was thrust upon me and now look at as a blessing, as opposed to the curse that it has been since 2008.”

She concluded by revealing that she plans to explain to her viewers the importance of protecting their privacy. Take a look:

As you can probably imagine, the internet had a LOT of thoughts on this rebrand — mostly because no one ever believed her version of events. Most still believe she murdered her daughter — and now she’s trying to spin her infamy into some kind of profitable public image. Taking to X (Twitter), critics blasted:

“Some folks just don’t know when to keep their mouths shut & lead a quiet, uneventful remainder of life on this earth!”

“She needs to go right back to the hole she crawled out of. #justiceforcayleeanthony”

“Casey Anthony’s personal rebrand was not on my 2025 Bingo card”

“I don’t want it.”

“We may be divided politically, but we can all come together to say, with no due respect, go f**k yourself, Casey Anthony.”

“Casey Anthony thinking enough time had passed that she could rebrand herself from child murderer to LGBTQ advocate and hard launch on social media in 2025 is next level tone deaf. Turn on comments ma’am! We just wanna talk!”

“Casey Anthony rebranding herself as a legal advocate is like Jeffrey Dahmer opening a steakhouse. The delusion is Michelin star level.”

“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but as a woman, I don’t need Casey Anthony advocating for me.”

“Maybe TikTok does need to be banned because why is child murderer Casey Anthony making videos freely like nothing happened?”

That’s just a taste of what social media has to say on this! Oof!
