Cassie‘s man put a ring on it, y’all!
Just one day after celebrating her 33rd birthday on Monday, August 26, the Me & U singer announced she and boyfriend Alex Fine are getting married!
The engagement news comes one year after the musician ended her decade-long on again, off again relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.

On Tuesday, the happy couple shared a video documenting the rodeo-themed proposal on both of their Instagram accounts. In the nearly two-minute clip, Alex — who is a 26-year-old competitive bull rider in addition to a personal trainer, in case you were confused — is seen getting ready for the big moment at the Compton Cowboys stable in the desert.

Alongside a stunning shot of himself down on bended knee in front of his bride-to-be, also shared on IG, Fine wrote:
“This moment will always be so special to me. I get to marry my best friend in the whole world. How am I so lucky! #mrsfine”

As we reported back in June, the pair revealed they are expecting their first child together — a baby girl.
At the time, the celebrity trainer penned a loving message to his future wife, complete with a list of romantic promises. He wrote:
“Letter to Cassie
I promise you that I will do every single thing in my power to support you and help you.
I promise that you will never be alone.
I promise that you will be loved beyond expectation and we will show our children how to be in a healthy relationship.
I promise to always come home with a great attitude and give our children and you undivided attention.

In case anyone is wondering how Diddy is holding up amid all of his ex’s exciting news, we’re going to assume the guy is doing just fine.
In fact, a source close to Combs previously told E! News the rap mogul’s actually really happy for her, noting:
“Diddy wants happiness for Cassie and her new chapter. He wants to be neutral with her, and she will always have a place in his heart.”
All’s well that ends well, right?
Anyway, congrats again to Cassie and Alex! With a baby on the way and a wedding to plan, these two certainly have a lot to look forward to.
