As we mentioned earlier, the delectable Robert Pattinson is enjoying the Cannes Film Festival this week. The Hollywood Reporter got to chat to the famous vampire on Tuesday and he gave away some juicy scoop for Twilighters
First, he does confirm that the fourth installment of the franchise, Breaking Dawn, will go to film and that he is committed to starring in it! No word yet on when production will start, as the star is becoming increasingly booked up due to his newfound fame.
He reveals that his stay at the festival is just a stop over before heading to Italy to finish shooting New Moon on Friday. He’s pleased to have had more screen time as Edward Cullen than orignally thought, as fans know Edward is mostly absent in the book. But, the script calls for Edward to appear as an apparition and that equals more R-Patz loving/
He says, “You’re playing a figment in Bella’s imagination so I was trying to do it in a 2-D way. I hope it doesn’t translate onscreen as being boring.”
Pattinson doesn’t have time to waste after New Moon, as he is then set to film Remember Me in the Big Apple, before returning to Vancouver in October to finish up Eclipse, the third installment of Twilight.
We say keep the R-Patz movies a’comin!
