He first opened up about his unpleasant time with the Gossip Girl alum, recalling that he was her hairstylist for the 2011 film Hick. One day, Blake invited Emanuel and other crew members to lunch. He remembered her “being cold and surly,” so he was hesitant to accept the invitation but eventually did. Emanuel did not have fun, though! He claimed Blake never served the food despite spending all night making pastries, cakes, and cream puff towers. By the time he left at 8:00 p.m., no one had eaten. Oof. Giving Blake the benefit of the doubt, the podcast host asked:

“Is it possible that she was just feeling, I don’t know, anxious? Did you witness maybe some rampant anxiety in the context of a dinner party where she didn’t really know anyone?”

Emanuel’s response? She was just straight-up rude. Not just to her guests but to her family! He said:

“That’s very kind of you to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I didn’t see her speak to anybody. Even her family seemed – her mother and brother seemed to be afraid of her. You don’t tell Blake you have all these people here. We need to feed them. In fact, the kitchen was such a disaster that Vivian (her makeup artist) and her sister, who was visiting, were called over at 1:00 a.m. from our house to come over and help clean.”

Not a good look for Blake. But is anyone surprised by this? We heard about her mean-girl behavior during the It Ends With Us drama! His story is just another example of that! Check it out (below):

Yikes!

According to Emanuel, Blake was pretty bad, but Anne? He shared that working with her on a film was “one of my worst experiences” he had with a celeb ever! Damn! What did she do? He accused the Interstellar star of treating him “like a servant.” Not OK! He said:

“Anne never acknowledged me as a person. For four and a half months, she treated me like a servant. During that time while we were in Los Angeles, my daughter was her stand-in, and I was doing [Anne’s] hair personally, just one on one, I was just doing her hair. She never said, ‘Your daughter. Do you have other children?’ or ‘How long have you been married?’ There was never any personal conversation.”

Emanuel noted he had several friendly conversations with other celebrities before, including Cate Blanchett, Johnny Depp, and Tom Hanks, but “Anne Hathaway never did that.” Bringing it back to Blake, when he first met her, he could not help but wonder if he had “another Anne Hathaway situation” because the Green Lantern star was so “dismissive from the get-go.” It’s not hard to treat your co-workers with kindness and respect — not “like a servant.”

And sadly, just like Blake, Anne has a bit of history for being rude. Watch the podcast video about the Princess Diaries star (below):

And there are more awful celeb interactions from there! The hair expert went on to slam J.Lo for an encounter they had years ago during an unknown talk show appearance:

“All [of a] sudden, we were told the next guest is on her way, It’s Jennifer Lopez. You guys need to clear the room, and suddenly there was an instant panic. And again, I’ve been doing a lot of talk shows in the green room with a lot of actors and I’ve never had that experience.”

Emanuel said he was leaving when he realized he left his coat in the room. He turned back around to get it, but then ran into Jennifer:

“So I went back into the room to get my overcoat that was hanging over a chair and when I turned around, Jennifer walked into the room.”

He greeted the singer, telling her they worked together on the 2005 movie Monster in Law. However, Jennifer did not even give him the time of day! He alleged:

“Jennifer just looked at me, just gave me a blank stare, and then looked away to her bodyguards as if [to say] you were told to get this trash and clear the room. Why isn’t this room cleared?”

Of course, Emanuel was taken aback by the situation. You would expect that since they worked together in the past, Jennifer would at least say hi! But no! She couldn’t even bother, according to him. Watch him tell this terrible experience with Jennifer (below):

Finally, we have Russell. Emanuel claimed on the podcast that he was “the only actor I’ve worked with who ever hit me.” OMG!? WHAT! He said:

“I was doing his hair for the movie Cinderella Man. Russell said, ‘Not now Emanuel,” and he just swung at me, and he hit me.”

WTF. No one should ever lay a hand on a co-worker like that for just doing their job. This is so messed up.  Watch (below):

Wow! Emanuel did not hold back! At this time, Jennifer, Blake, and Russell have not addressed Emanuel’s claims. However, Anne did! And she has a very different recollection of her interactions with the hairstylist! She denied the allegations to Page Six on Friday, saying:

“It’s unfortunate to hear that Manny’s memory of our time together differed so dramatically from mine. I continue to wish him nothing but the best.”

Reactions, Perezcious readers? Are you surprised by any of these claims? Sound OFF in the comments!
