There were a ton of AH-Mazing Halloween costumes this year.
We loved Demi Lovato as a sexy Pennywise, Cardi B as a sexier Poison Ivy, and Neal Patrick Harris and David Burtka as a not-at-all sexy but actually pretty disturbing version of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Jennifer Garner‘s mailbox costume was so cute (though possibly a federal crime LOLz!). Gabrielle Union bringing back her Bring It On character with her daughter had us saying, “Brrrr… it’s cold in here… but actually quite warm in our hearts.” And Ariana Grande‘s Twilight Zone homage was pure nostalgia.

We just LOVED Kim K as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde!
While her Flintstones family costume was cute, it seemed like her passion was all about this movie tribute.
Heck, she even remade the video essay!
We really respect the effort she put in but also appreciate the meta aspect — Kim really is studying law and not being taken seriously right now!
The OG Elle Woods, Reese Witherspoon herself, even gave gurl a shoutout, reposting the vid with the message:
“Elle Woods forever!”

Heidi Klum
While others went for glam, Heidi Klum went for gore…
The America’s Got Talent judge brought the nightmare fuel as a very scary alien at her 20th Annual Halloween Party presented by Amazon Prime Video and SVEDKA Vodka.
The H.R. Giger-inspired look was full of anatomical detail and makeup magic.
We mean, the supermodel goes all out EVERY year, but the effect isn’t always this haunting. Having Tom Kaulitz there as her astronaut victim was especially great.
Janelle Monae
Janelle Monae also went for the spooky factor with this ghostly look as Annie Bellum, the “headless doll face” bride.

Like many celebs, Kylie Jenner sported more than one look this year — the other was Marilyn Monroe from Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend — but we are just suckers for a great Disney look.
And this may be the sexiest Ariel (the not-so-little mermaid) we’ve ever seen!
Khloé Kardashian.
Y’all. We hate to give the KarJenners such dominance on the voting ballots here, but credit where it’s due!
Khloé Kardashian also went Disney, this time as villain Cruella de Vil — only the thing which really sold her costume was accessory True Thompson as the first of her 101 Dalmatians! So cute!
