Céline Dion is opening up about releasing new music without her other half.
In case you need a refresher, René Angélil was Dion’s manager and husband who sadly passed away in January 2016. Now, the legendary singer is opening up about whether or not her heart can actually go on.

In a new interview with TODAY, the 51-year-old explains what it has been like releasing her first English album without him:
“This is my first English album without René. When I say without René I mean without René physically, because René will always be a part of me. ‘Courage’ was representing the whole losing my husband, losing my manager, my kids losing their father, and finding the strength to keep going — because I wanted to.”
Though it’s been almost four years since his passing, she won’t be dating again anytime soon:
“I don’t date. I’m not ready to date. I’m very lucky and happy to have so many people in my surrounding to make me — they make me laugh.”
