Chad Johnson Shares Update Following Hospitalization Over Suicidal Threat Call

Chad Johnson shares an update after being hospitalized in Los Angeles for suspicions of suicide.

Chad Johnson is sharing a hopeful update amid news of his recent hospitalization.

As we reported, the Bachelorette alum was admitted for observation on Saturday after sharing disturbing social media posts which suggested he was suicidal. The images and videos shared to the 32-year-old’s Instagram account featured a homemade hanging apparatus and prompted the police to perform two separate welfare checks at the reality TV star’s home before eventually taking him to get medical attention.

Following his release from the hospital, Johnson took to his IG story to let fans know he’s doing alright. Alongside the image (below), he wrote:

“I’m okay. Things are fine. I love you. You’ll be great. Life is going to be okay. Forgive yourself. Let go.”

We’re glad to hear he’s doing “okay” after such a scary weekend. It’s unclear if the second part of his message is intended as a pep talk to himself or directed at someone else — but it sounds hopeful, nonetheless.

That pic was quickly followed by another since-expired shot taken from a car that showed palm trees through a window. Chad included a caption where he begged people to stop calling the authorities to check on him:

“Hey idiots stop calling the police I’m not at home. I don’t want to be abducted or kidnapped. Good luck bitches. Come find me.”

Additionally, he shared a card signed by a woman named Annalise, presumably his ex-girlfriend Annalise Mishler, who was involved in an alleged domestic violence altercation with the star only days ago. The token read:

“I love you. I care about you so f**king much. I would write more but that’s all that matters.”

Chad shared a few details about his time at the hospital alongside another expired photo of his arm which appeared to be strapped down. He seemed incredulous over the scary situation and wrote:

“I didn’t break any laws. 15 police break into my apartment while I’m in bed asleep and wheel me out. Why am I here.”

All things considered, we hope Chad continues to stay positive and seek continued professional help in the wake of this incident. Especially since he’ll still have to answer for what went down with Mishler, too.
