Thankfully Jamie Dornan has helped cool the burn we felt when Charlie Hunnam walked away from a starring role in 50 Shades of Grey!
But we still have no clue WHY the Sons Of Anarchy hunk abandoned the XXX-rated role of Christian Grey.
Believe it or not, it wasn’t the raunchy required scenes or the attention that obviously came with the HIGHly coveted gig.
Charlie explained:
“I don├óΓé¼Γäót think people have had unchaperoned access to me since all of this went on. The CliffsNotes were exactly what we said. I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót do it because of [the] schedule. It was as simple as that. I would├óΓé¼Γäóve brought a certain rugged charm to it, but believe me, he├óΓé¼Γäós going to do just fine.”
Wouldn’t they have figured that out BEFORE the big announcement??! What teases! Now we’ll never know what rugged charm Charlie could’ve brought to Christian Grey. *TEAR*
As for if there is a chance Charlie could sit next to you in the theater to watch the book series come to life.
It could happen!!!
Charlie continued:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm just really excited to see it. I was just really, really invested and wanted to work with Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and play that character. I├óΓé¼Γäóm really, really curious.”
As are we Charlie. As are we!
We have an idea: How about you buy the tickets, we’ll buy the popcorn, and it’ll be a date.
