The internet is in full meltdown mode.
Why, you may ask? Well, on Wednesday, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini took to Instagram to share a selfie as most celebrities do.
However, fans have since spotted a mystery arm in the pic which appears to belong to a male gentleman. Of course, since Liam Payne and the X Factor judge were recently spotted getting cozy in a pic on the One Direction member’s IG account, Directioners are simply assuming the appendage belongs to him.

Aww! While we can’t confidently say that is Liam in the snap, several fans are certainly obsessing over it.

LOLz! Still, we can’t entirely blame the I Don’t Care singer if she DID crop the British cutie out of her pic as she’s been facing major backlash over the rumors about her relationship with the 22-year-old.
In case you forgot, Cheryl is currently in the midst of divorcing her second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Looks like these two won’t be walking down any red carpets any time soon. Bummer!
