Lionsgate and American International Industries might be suing each other over it, but it looks like the Hunger Games-inspired nail polish collection is still ON.
Here’s the back story: Lionsgate originally signed a contract with AII to produce the collection, only to turn around and tell the press the collab wasn’t happening. Lionsgate also asked AII to say they were only in talks with them. AII refused to lie, which pissed Lionsgate off so they terminated the contract.
To get even, Lionsgate accused AII of leaking pictures and info of the collection to the press so they filed a lawsuit against them for $10 million.
Now, two weeks later, China Glaze (who is owned by American International Industries) sent out a press release announcing the Hunger Games Colours of the Capitol will launch on March 1st.
Fingers crossed this time it sticks!
