This spring, Dr. Pepper offered to send a free can of its bevvie to “everyone in America” if Guns ‘n’ Roses‘s long delayed new album, Chinese Democracy, were to drop anytime during the 2008 calendar year.
Well, Dr. Pepper’s going to need to pony up because GnR and their corporate partner have set a 2008 release date!
You can pick up your very own copy of Chinese Democracy at a Best Buy starting on Sunday, November 23rd.
We know you music lovers are thinking Sunday not Tuesday, the ‘normal’ day new releases hit the market?!
Billboard reports that the move is tied to the structure of Best Buy’s sales week, which runs from Sunday to Saturday.
Way to totally sell out, guys!
