Hall, 23, attacked his roommate in a fit of rage after he learned she had consumed three Chips Ahoy! cookies for breakfast.
The woman survived Hall’s attempt at strangulation after her husband and landlord heard the fight.
It’s unclear if Hall was upset because the cookies belonged to him or he just doesn’t like cookies…especially for breakfast.
Hall is currently being held in an Illinois prison on a $75,000 bond.
