Captain America and Cinderella dating? Are you serious?!
Man, in a year that’s been all breakup, breakup, breakup, this is the brand new love we never knew we wanted to see.
What are we on about? Well, Chris Evans and Lily James were both spotted at a private members only club in London over the weekend. In photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, they can be seen leaving Mark’s Club in the neighborhood of Mayfair. The Downton Abbey vet is looking stunning in the pics in a red gown, while the Avengers Endgame star is looking handsome in black (though not as good as in that cable knit sweater in Knives Out, sorry ’bout it).

And here’s the thing — they left together!
OK, not exactly together. But it’s actually a really inneresting distinction. See, Lily was spotted getting into a taxi just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, and moments later Chris was snapped leaving and getting into the same cab — which had been sitting there waiting for him! It’s almost as though these two stars know there’s a chance they’ll be photographed and don’t want pics of them together getting out there. That’s kinda even more suspicious, isn’t it?

The cab was spotted later at Chris’ hotel, and the Boston native got out and entered the lobby as the car drove away. End of the evening? Not so fast… While Chris was going in the main entrance, apparently the taxi went around to the back where Lily got out! Witnesses say Chris could be seen speaking to the staff, after which the live action Disney princess was let in the rear entrance.
WHAT?! They couldn’t be more suspect if they were both wearing fake mustaches!
If these two aren’t having a romantic rendezvous and trying to keep it secret, they sure are doing some fantastic acting playing two people doing it! LOLz!
Both stars are currently single, so far as we know. Lily broke up with Doctor Who star Matt Smith back in December 2019, after five years together. This after he and Claire Foy, his co-star from The Crown, were seen looking awfully couple-y while promoting their show together. Chris dated former SNL cast member Jenny Slate off and on for about two years before calling it quits in 2018. She just got engaged last September.
We don’t know if the two have any friends in common, but they have both worked with Edgar Wright — Chris on Scott Pilgrim VS The World and Lily on Baby Driver. Both actors have gushed about the famously affable filmmaker — maybe they met through him? Just a shot in the dark…
Look, we hope these two have found something special, and not just because the potential star power of their kids boggles our celeb-obsessed minds. They both seem like really decent, kind, down-to-earth people who haven’t been the luckiest in love. What do YOU think of this possible new couple?
