How tragic!!
Music manager Chris Lighty is dead at 44.
His body was found Thursday is his Bronx apartment and the cause of death appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
The hip-hop icon worked with top-tier artists and was the longtime manager of Diddy, Mariah Carey, Ja Rule, and 50 Cent.
He was found shortly before noon and a gun was also recovered next to his body.
We hate to think anyone would ever take their own life but Chris recently divorced his wife and may have been millions of dollars in debt to the IRS.
Many musicians tweeted condolences as soon as they heard the news.

We cannot imagine how broken-hearted his family and friends must. Our thoughts extend to each of them.
