It’s no secret to anyone who has listened to Gwyneth Paltrow speak that she has a pretty snobby obnoxious elitist high opinion of herself and her abilities as an actress, mother, singer, and lifestyle blogger, but apparently, she’s even got her husband Chris Martin drinking her nonsensical kool-aid, too – because he seems to think that the Mrs. is more famous than he is!
He explains:
“Ridiculous as it sounds, I still feel like we’re trying to make it. I think being married to someone much more famous makes me feel not famous all. When I first met Bono, I thought, ‘Wow, this is like an alien speaking to me.’ Whereas everyone has been humanized now. It matters to me whether we get some sing-alongs – I love that more than anything. But as popular as you are, you’re also unpopular so it just levels out at nothing. If you’re going to respond to the people who think you’re special, then you’re going to have to respond to the people who think you’re not special. I’m so grateful for the people who do like us that I don’t really care about the ones that don’t.”
Yes, Chris, it DOES sound ridiculous! Give yourself some credit!
Especially because for all of the people with whom you are “unpopular,” we’re sure Miz GOOP has thrice as many!
