Chrissy Teigen and baths — who knew this would be such a controversial combination?!
John Legend‘s wife is yet again having to defend herself after sharing photos of a recent bath time — this time with her three of her four children, Wren, 18 months, Esti, 2, Miles, 6, and Luna, 8. In an Instagram post on Saturday, the Cravings cookbook author shared tons of photos of her family, but it was the first image that caught the most attention.

In the snapshot, she sat naked in a tub surrounded by three of her kids (minus the eldest). The water was neither clear nor covered in suds but rather a grey, cloudy color, which really irritated some! See the photo:
Now take a look at some of the heated comments:
“They are way to old to be in the bath with you”
“The bath pic is weird and unnecessary”
“Your boys are too old to be in the bath with you. Not appropriate at all”
“this a moment that should be kept private.. naked kids and a naked adult in the bath together should be the last thing someone thinks about putting out on the internet whether it was innocent or not…”
“I definitely thinks the oldest boy is to big to bath with mom”
“Cringe, kids deserve privacy too”
“Why do people post stuff like this on social media???””
For the record, not everyone was upset by the photo, defending Chrissy:
“These kids have a better relationship with their parents than any of you mom shaming her.. lol”
“Get over yourselves people…. Omg….. Seriously shaming a mom and her kids…. And making something out of nothing ….. There are […] bigger issues in the world”
“PSA: nakedness is only sexual because you are making it that way. That’s a YOU problem. Thanksbye”
Then there was one commenter who wasn’t bothered by the naked kids — but the water! They reacted:
“Why is she always in dirty bathwater?”
Chrissy actually saw the comment and chose to respond, clapping back:
“It’s a coconut milk bath for sensitive skin but go off!”
Hah! This comes after she posted a video of herself in June washing off body makeup in the tub, making the water look brown. Her next bath pic better be in a clean and soapy tub. LOLz!
Chrissy is clearly unfazed by this drama, but do YOU think this was a problematic post? Let alone the coconut water, is it inappropriate to be bathing with your kids and sharing it on the internet? Sound OFF (below)!
