This is inneresting.
Esquire‘s editor-in-chief David Granger let it slip at a magazine conference that Scarlett Johannson was supposed to be on the cover of May’s “Women We Love” issue. But as we all know, booblicious actress Christina Hendricks took the cover.
Granger revealed “Scarlett completely screwed us.”
But how?
A souce says, ScarJo was committed to do the cover, but “things change rather quickly. I think her commitment on Broadway [in Arthur Miller’s ‘A View From the Bridge’] prevented her from making good.”
And then there’s this.
Another source blabbed that David’s harsh words “probably had something to do with the fact that David is fiercely competitive and would have been pissed off if the cover fell through.”
In the end who really cares? We’ve all seen Scarlett on a cover before. Plus, with Christina on the cover it gave people something to talk about since it was unexpected.
